Owners Chris Lopez and Anette Wilson started Mid-America
Sign Contractors, Inc., in 1998, and it has rapidly become
one of the largest and most inventive sign companies in
the metro. Holding a DBE certification with the City of
Kansas City, State of Missouri, State of Kansas and the
Federal Government, Mid-America Sign has evolved as one
of the key players in the minority sector. The company
is also 8 (a) Certified.

Anette and Chris have 32 years of industry
experience, combined, and with their skilled
guidance they have been able to earn prestigious
projects such as Science City at Union Station,
the Kansas City Convention Center, renovation of
Truman Library and the Kansas Speedway. The
company has also created beautiful signs for
Children’s Mercy South, Kansas City International
Airport and for recognizable businesses that
shoppers visit every day.

Mid-America Sign has completed several large construction projects in the Greater Kansas City Area, such as Science City at Union Station, The Truman Library Renovation, The Kansas Speedway, T-Bones Stadium, and KCI Airport Parking. We also ship signs we manufacture to other states for installation.
